He is Risen, Indeed!

Published 28 days ago • 1 min read

Happy April,

He is Risen indeed!! What better way to wrap up March than by celebrating our Savior's resurrection. Phil finished his three-month stay as interim worship coordinator at Big Creek Baptist Church on Easter Sunday. What a wonderful congregation who were open to Phil's unique style of worship leading. We made some great friends, and we'll always treasure our time there. In fact, we are going back on April 21st to share our ministry during the morning service so they can get a glimpse of what we really do. This week we start back on the road and will be scheduling out the rest of the year. We'd love to come and worship with you; give us a call at 888-523-4492 to reserve a spot.

March was a very busy month on another front as well. Our home church has been undergoing a remodel and the pastor asked Phil to make 200 commemorative crosses from the wood that was removed during the update. Phil came up with a design and the sawdust flew! The crosses were finished and distributed to member families as part of the Palm Sunday service. And wouldn't you know, they ran out! Phil is in the process of making 50 more for those who missed out on the first batch.

We want to take this opportunity to say a special Thank You to all the folks who partner with us financially to keep our ministry going. God has used you to play a crucial role in allowing us to do what He has called us to do, and only He knows how many lives have been touched! We've had several longtime friends of the ministry pass away or retire from their jobs over the past year, and they will be missed. If you believe in what God has called us to do, whether through concerts and conferences, or Phil's weekly devotional nuggets, would you consider partnering with us? You can use either our website at https://www.philandpammorgan.com/MP or through Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/pnpmorgan. As we're sure you've noticed, the price of everything from gas to groceries keeps going up, and that includes our living and ministry expenses. Thanks for remembering us, we appreciate your support more than you know!

Have a blessed week,
Phil and Pam

Hey friends, For the second time this year, our concert is flooded out. This evening's concert in Rockville, MO is going to be rescheduled for a later date. The recent rain has caused flooding in the area and they are supposed to get more this afternoon. Pray for those affected! We look forward to seeing our friends in that area when things dry up a bit. In the meantime, stay safe, put on one of our albums and we'll have a long distance sing-along! Blessings,Phil and Pam Click Here to Check...

Cinco de Yummy! by Phil I'm counting down the days to Cinco de Mayo, which celebrates Mexico's victory over the French on May 5, 1862. Strangely enough, Cinco de Mayo is an American holiday and rarely celebrated in Mexico. Either way, it's a great excuse to eat burritos and tamales! I'm personally in favor of all food related holidays. I love to eat Irish food on St. Patrick's Day, Chinese on the Chinese New Year, Italian on Valentine's Day (I'm not sure why, but who's arguing?), American...

More Than Conquerors by Phil On Easter Sunday the sermon was based on one of my favorite chapters in the Bible - Romans 8. I was following along in my Blue Letter Bible app*, and tapped on the phrase “more than conquerors” in verse 37. I knew from previous study that in the Greek this phrase is just one word - Hypernikao, but I’d never looked at the tense of the word. I’m not a Greek scholar, but here’s what I understand. In ancient or Biblical greek, each verb has one of four moods, three...
